 Committee Descriptions/ Meetings 

All LAN Committee Meetings are held at Schaumburg Township Offices, #1 Illinois Blvd., Hoffman Estates, IL 60194 (847-884-0030).

Wrap Committee meetings are held every month on the 3rd Monday of the month at 1:00pm.

Steering Committee meetings are also held on the 3rd Monday of the month at 3:00pm.

These goals will be accomplished through after-school homework assistance and summer programs, seminars and groups, parent involvement, and coordination and collaboration of community services.
FAMILY SERVICE ASSOCIATION OF GREATER ELGIN AREA FCS Family Linkage Program The Family Linkage Program will provide weekly Conflict Resolution Groups in three middle schools in the Hanover and Schaumburg Township area. The issues to be addressed in the groups will include a curriculum as follows: conflict resolution, anger anagement, peer problem solving, positive communication skills, self-empowerment, personal responsibility, increasing skills of empathy,critical thinking, team building and trust building skills. Contact with DCFS staff and/or school personnel will be maintained in order to provide the at-risk youth with educational advocacy and to monitor the youth's attendance at school and progress made towards educational goals. Case management will be available to youth serviced in the program.
