Association For Individ Dev $31,600.00 $31,600.00 47 - Kane, Kendall Counties CENTER OF INFORMATION FOR ELGIN / CENTRO DE INFORMACION Y P  Counseling Families in Crisis Address issues of communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, anger management, personal responsibility, isolation, family roles, and self esteem that leads to school suspension, expulsion, poor attendance and/or truancy. Targeted population is Spanish-speaking families, and working in conjunction with the Regional Office of Education Truancy Program, an other school referrals. This will be accomplished by having individual counseling, group sessions, and case management services provided to all clients and their parents.
Kids Hope United  Family Unity Refocus Program Support Services-community based preventive activities designed to alleviate parental stress/anxiety associated with an at risk child/client/student behavior related to suspensions, truancy, and expulsions. The targeted population is any child age 6-13 exhibiting social, emotional and/or behavioral problems impacting negatively on school performance as demonstrated, for example by poor school attendance, truancy, suspensions and/or expulsions. Parental support groups will be conducted, individual and family counseling services would be available as needed either at home or at school.
AUNT MARTHA'S YOUTH SERVICES Preventing Truancy Education Program Intensive counseling based/case management model of preventing truancy among high risk youth in Kane/Kendall Counties. Services can be provided on site at schools, or at Aunt Martha's Offices or locations. Services can include individual, family or group interventions. Parents of identified youth will be referred to the Parenting Techniques Education series to receive training and development in the areas of discipline, education support and advocacy, as well as age appropriate motivation.

Networking handles attendance, and special activities, wrap subcommittee approves clients for wrap plans.

Networking committee meets the first Wednesday of every month at 9;30 a.m. at TriCities Family Services, Geneva, Il. 60134.

Wrap Subcommittee meets 2nd, and fourth Tuesday from 1-3;30 at the Regional Office of Education, Geneva, Il. 60134
