LAN 33:  Fiscal Subcommittee

After a referral has been approved, the Facilitator will work with the family to build a Child and family team (C/FT) and develop a written Wraparound Plan.  A copy of the blank Wraparound plan may be obtained by clicking on Wraparound Forms at the bottom of this page or by contacting one of the Co-Conveners or the DCFS LAN Liaison.

The completed Wraparound Plan should be sent to the Fiscal Subcommittee (Betsy Steele, at Family Service Agency of DeKalb is chair of this subcommittee) upon completion.  The Fiscal Subcommittee will review the plan.  They will be looking to insure that if any funding request is made from the LAN that all available resources in the community are utilized or exhausted before LAN funds are approved.  They will also review the plan to determine that any goods or services for which funding is requested is necessary and consistent with the goal of keeping a child from placement outside the community.  The subcommittee may make recommendations to the C/FT as to alternative ways to meet identified needs.
