Just call RuralLINK at 1-866-METRO-08 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays at least 24 hours in advance. Tell us where and when you want to be picked up, and where you want to go. ...and then be ready for RuralLINK to pick you at up at your scheduled time. It's that easy.

Cardinal Transit

Cardinal Transit offers transportation  service for linkage  throughout Rock Island,  Mercer and Henry Counties.

Cost: $1.50 each way

The transportation  program began May 1, 2001. The Cardinal  Transit does go to Heartland College. If  participants wish to come in town the drop off point is at Southpark Mall and from there they are able to take Rock Island Public Transportation.
