23 Committees
Gatekeeping
is a committee that reviews all cases to determine
eligibility for funding, approves wraparound plans and
recommends funding, assists in creating a Child and Family
Team, and refers to community resources when a wraparound plan
is not appropriate.
Family
Centered Services is a committee that promotes a
parent-friendly support network to identify, advocate and
assist traditional and non-traditional solutions for families
with children who have emotional and behavioral problems,
empowers parents to seek needed supports, and encourages them
to recognize unmet needs, establishes and supports parent
groups to strengthen families to reduce and prevent child abuse
and neglect.
Quality
Assurance is a committee that monitors the cost
effectiveness of services funded by LAN 23, determines the
quality of services, and develops methods and implementation of
monitoring, submitting periodic reports to the general LAN
membership.
