Supporting Student Stability  Supporting Student Stability (SSS).  This program provides support to families and youth to promote positive academic engagement, attendance and behavior. 

This program focuses on better communication between youth and families, between families and school personnel (for students in K though 8th grade in the following school districts: Charleston #1, Mattoon #2, Casey-Westfield #4C and Paris #95 & #4.

SSS caseworkers develop strategies to promote positive education outcomes by reducing truancies, suspensions and expulsions by providing services such as: Child and Family Team meetings in the school, One-on-one sessions with the student, which focus on anger management and other coping skills, Homework assistance, Parent education and support to reduce household stress, Wraparound services, and referrals to other agencies.
